Door Trigger switches has a built in reflective sensor that consist of a transmitting and a receiving diode. Transmitting diode emits an infrared pulse signal which is reflected by an object approaching the sensor detection range. The receiving diode then receives the reflected infrared pulse which triggers the internal switch allowing the light to switch ON/OFF.
